After lots of recommendations, I ordered the Comp Tac Minotaur for my new Walther PPS. However, they now appear to be shipping with a new clip design.
They are apparently dual use. You can slip them over your belt and/or pants or thread your belt through the clips. I suppose the 2nd option makes the clips less obvious.
It seems to be very secure with my larger extra wide belts, but for normal 1" belts, I have had one clip slip out when I didn't have my belt very tight. I would not say it could easily slip out though. It also appears that it makes the clips approximately twice as thick. Now here is where I have a real issue with them, if you slip the clip completely over your belt the little tabs are left exposed. In my experience, when you try and lift your shirt or coat to draw it will snag on one or both of these tabs. I'm sure with practice you can learn to move your shirt or coat out of the way. However, I'm still not convinced this is an overall improvement. I really don't want to imply I'm unhappy with the holster overall. The quality of the holsters construction appears flawless and it is extremely comfortable when worn. However, I'm considering contacting Comp Tac and ordering the older clips if they still make them. Again, nothing against comp tac holster fits and draws like a dream, just would love to hear from someone who has lived with both clip types.

Seems to work fine now.

Have you received your holster? Looking at their web site it only shows the standard clip. The c-clip you have pictured is listed as an option.
i got one with the new clips. it works well and i have not had any problems.

It's not supposed to go over your belt - it goes over your pants and your belt goes thru the "C"s. They are sized for 1.25", 1.5", and 1.75" belts - not 1".
I'm a fan. Use these and they work very well.
These clips are not new. They are optional instead of the standard clip. They are intended to have your belt feed through the "c" so the clip is less obvious. They come is a few different sizes to fit different width belts. They work great except with very thick belts. I just ordered a new one and the clips barely fit due to the belts thickness. Just something to be aware of.
They didn't change, you just got a set of the "C" clips as said above. You can still get the standard clips on holsters as a standard but you can change out for the "C" clips or the velcro clips.

Also, I bet if you ask nice, they'll exchange them for you if you haven't tweaked them stuffing your pants and belt in the bend.
I've carried in a MTAC for years and those clips have always been an option. You can choose the clip style when you order the holster.

Thanks everyone! Has anyone tried both and developed a preference?
