Saw a Sneaky Pete in Home Depot today.

No, it was not for sale.

An older looking foreign gentleman was wearing the brown alligator skin version. I did a double take and saw the gold colored SP logo.

I started to ask him about it, but figured I shouldn't.

If it didn't have the SP on it, this old guy could have made it look legitimate.

I did notice in the SP ads, that they removed the metal l
Emblems, and switched to a stamped logo. Maybe these guys are reading the forums.

That's the downside of being sneaky - advertising defeats the utility.

I guess it was a "not so sneaky" Pete.

Once you have seen one they are no longer very sneaky. I saw one about a month ago for the first time. Larger than I thought they would be.

    What's a Sneaky Pete.
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

It's a gun pouch that attaches to your belt. Big things. Google it. I'd rather wear a fanny pack and have room for money, keys, etc. in addition to my gun.

It'll hold a Ruger LCP or similar mouse gun and it looks like a smart phone case

Gees, it looks like it would hold a much larger gun than an LCP. Looks like a man purse.

What makes him foreign? America is the melting pot. I just think that portion of the comment isn't needed.

Only people who "don't mind" know what it is. So I would say it is still pretty sneaky. People that are not gun people(and some that are JL) don't know what SP stands for. Twice I've had people that know I carry thought I was "without " and I told them no they still overlooked the SP label and did not realize what it was or what was inside.

I saw I gentleman in a local restaurant wearing one. It looked like an awfully large cell case but I wasn't certain until I saw the gold "SP" emblem on it.

Ah Ha! Very sneaky indeed. I wouldn't have known that held a gun but now I do.

Thanks! I kind of like that.
