Yet another "I got a UBG holster and love it" thread. (lots of pics)
Last night while opening my Netflix movies, I noticed "Pkg at office" scrawled on one of the envelopes. I went by this morning to see what it was. Guess what I got just in time for Christmas?
My Ugly Bald Guy Striker I! I had him make it with reversible clips, for IWB (CCW) and OWB (range, winter CCW) use. It's everything I expected and more. This picture is the closest color-wise; the flash made it look really red in all the others. I think this is "maroon," or possibly "mahogany." Maybe they're the same thing.
Under a t-shirt.
Oops, that's not concealed.
Top view. Clips off to the sides makes for a very thin holster, especially on a flat gun like the 1911. (Edit: Wow, the flash really makes the blued parts stand out from the park'd.)
With clips flipped:
Still close enough to conceal under, say, a suit jacket, or even a tshirt if you don't move much.
Overall, it's well worth the $58 (postage included) I spent on it.
The gun's a Springfield GI 1911A1, in case you were wondering.
The only bad thing I can say about the holster is that it was a really tight fit to the gun out of the box, so now my 1911 is now very vaguely pink. A bit of water and Saran wrap fixed that right up, though (the tightness, that is. The gun's still pink).

But do my eyes deceive me? You have the holster IWB and OWB...are those clips reversible?

That is a cool holster! I love it when they perform more than one duty and it work's. UBG is really starting to impress me with the last several I have seen. Good stuff!
I agree with QK, you should lose that lanyard loop and put a different MSH on her due to a potential problem if ever in a gun fight and you need a new mag quick! That loop can cause problems.

Yes. It's a Springfield GI. I got it as a range toy, never really thought about CCW until I got the holster and wore it around the house. I just needed a place to put it while loading mags at the range, and got a good versatile holster in case I did eventually start carrying. Once I actually get a CHL, I'll save up and get a more modern 1911 for carry (or get a Rem-Rand for the vintage look and modernize the Springfield).

Yes, I had him make them reversible so I could wear it OWB for range/woods carry. I originally asked for belt loops on the back, but he said that wouldn't work well for some reason, and suggested reversible clips.

I also got my UBG Striker II, belt and mag pouch on the 23rd. I was
tickled. I had mine made for a 5" 1911 also. Mine is burgundy. I wish
I could post pictures but I don't have the stuff. I would order from Nate
again in a heartbeat.
