    quick question clip

I have a SOG slimjim and while wearing it the clip that goes on the outside of my pocket bent out really bad somehow. Is there any tricks to get this to bend back or should I take it off and bend it back somehow? any tips would be very appreciate it. Thank you!

I don't believe I would try and bend it while still mounted on to the SOG, it may damage the retaining screws or slots. If anything take it off and try to correct the matter. I contacted SOG and talked to the Warranty Department. Replacement Clips are sent out at no cost. You can order one via their website or call 888-405-6433. Choose option number 3 after selecting the warranties for an automated order.

I had a Gerber with the same problem all I did was take off the clip and used my thumb and pushed real hard.

You'd have to push it back past the original point to overcome the springiness so that when you left off the pressure it would spring back a bit and be at its old position. That would obviously require removal but if you can get a new one as mentioned above, I think I'd go with that option.

Gerber sent me a new one for my little FAST folder. Just a call away.
