"EZ Holster" - New and Different

I'll withhold judgement until someone does a review but I remain skeptical based on their demo video.

It took the woman four seconds to present. The guy's presentation was edited, so hard to tell how long it took him. I'll pass.

This may suit some, as a carry method. Personally, I'd pass on it.

The demo won't play for me. What is the concept? Looks like a cumbersome pocket holster from the pics but I may be missing something.

It doesn't look bad, for men that want to back pocket carry. I could see people wanting these and with a subcompact, it could be great.

It's a rectangular case with a flap. You undo the flap and a spring mechanism raises your gun out of the holster.

They have a couple of videos on YouTube.

Personally I like out of the box thinking. I will wait on the reviews to see how folks like it.

I agree. There is nothing wrong with some innovation or new ideas. Personally, I always thought we could use some more 'open carry' options on the belt for states where we have to conceal. The Safe Packer is one decent option but vastly over priced in my opinion. Then there really isn't much else other than fanny packs. So at least glad to see something else out there.

I always like to see innovation in design but I'm not sure this is a direction that I see any promise in design wise, seems cumbersome. But we'll see maybe it's the best thing ever won't know till some people try them out.

I was wondering if there was a spring loaded riser. that's a good thing.

i like that it looks nothing like a holster. super easy to blame on high tech gear or medical equipment.

i like that it appears to be a sturdy steel box.

sitting on it can't be nice.

retention is my big concern. that big, heavy, metal box is just sitting in your pocket?

i won't discount it as a gimmick. doubt i'll be buying one anytime soon. frankly, I'm a good enough fabricator i'll make one if i want. it'd be a little-thick - with my snubbie though.

Pick pocket would have a field day and end up with your gun, not for me.
