Question for SmartCarry Owners

I'm close to ordering. Question is:
Do I get the small or medium? According to the guy at Smartcarry,
the small will fit my J-frame and P11 I plan to carry. BUT, it sure would be nice to have the ability to carry my Glock 30 also so.....a medium will work with it. The SC website says to use a pin to make the adjustment in a larger holster for a smaller gun.
The other part of my question is: is the meduim SC that much bigger than the small, in terms of comfort and bulk?

I'd need to have all three sizes side-by-side to really tell.

Mine was bought for a full size (my P95 originally, way back) and to be honest I doubt it would worry me to use it for a j frame if need be.

Mine is for very occasional use if deep - means DEEP!!! I'd certainly tend to buy larger than theoretically needed - than stay too small. Just me tho.

I have a medium that I use for my Smith 6946 and Kel-tec P11. For the P11 I have a safety pin to keep the P11 from going to far down by 3/4 of an inch. The Smith has a 3.5 inch barrel and the P11 is 3 inch barrel.

Here is a pick of my 6946. Hope this helps. Both the P11 and J frame should work so the Glock will work in a medium with some safety pins to modify the depth. You can see the safety pin for the mag depth.

You can always make the pocket size smaller, kind of hard to make it bigger. Size really doesn't matter because it is under your britches.

I have the small and carry a 642. It fits perfect. dont know on anything larger....

I have a medium SmartCarry which works well for my Walther P99 .40S&W (full-size). It also works well with my Walther PPK/S. If your P11 is the Kel-Tec it is roughy the same size as my PPK/S. If so the medium will work fine for you.

It is too big for my Kel-Tec P3ATs and really not practical for them because they are light and small enough to pocket carry, use with a belt-clip or a belly band.

You are safe with the medium size, you can always make it smaller. Besides, Charlie (SmartCarry, owner) will exchange it for a smaller one if you think it is too big.

My medium SC is comfortable and not too bulky but rarely use it now because I mostly pocket carry with my P3ATs because I sit a lot with my job. I used to wear a SC daily with one of my Walthers before I bought my P3ATs. You will only feel it if you sit alot and you wear tight pants. It does take a few days to get used to wearing it.

Another good thing about the medium is that there is plenty of room for other items (non-gun) you wish to secure if you travel places that you won't be carrying a gun.

For a small J-frame you may consider a belly band.

I have a medium. It holds my XD 40 Service and Beretta 9000s f. both fine if any smaller was needed I would put some cloth in bottom. I don't like needles or pins.

The largest I've carried comfortably is a G27, and carry a G22 mag, no fillers needed.

I am a new Smartcarry owner and have quickly grown to like it a lot. Very comfortable and very secure. It is a Security V in medium which I use to carry an XD45 Service with the large mag. Works exceedingly well! I have also experimented a bit by carrying a S&W Model 60 revolver with a 3" barrel. It also works very well.

Did not think I was going to like it but I sue do.

i have a small and carry my 642 and smaller autos in it. I can actually carry my ultra carry II in it. but if I were you, I would buy the mediumand put in the safety pin or some tissue to 'stuff it some'....oh man is that going to raise some eyebrows! A medium will carry most firearms.
You wont be sorry you bought it. I think it is a necessity for the hardcore CCW guys, because you are going to have a situation where you need to where it.
