Either a Rosen 5DM or a Rafter S are the two I can recomend. They both are the same style and ride well and conceal well. Rafter S is a little cheaper.

    Almost All My Holsters...

are from Fist, Inc...and are IWB.

    That said...
I have ONE OWB for my 4" Kimber with one single mag holder and one double mag holder. All work well and all three are from Galco.

Do the right thing!!!!! Get a double mag pouch, holster and belt made at the same time. Any holster artist on this forum can do a great job for you.

I use many different types. I do like Highnoonholster.com double mag holder. They are adjustable for different sized double stack mags or a different one for single stack mags. They ship in 3 days for in stock items.

Check out Gary's double pouch with a forward rake. I recently started using one and like it a lot.

Lou Alessi's is the best I have ever used. I have them from Sparks, Rosen, Kramer and Brommeland but Lou's is the best with Sparks coming in second!

Gary, your products are awesome as they are, I prefer a straight vertical design vs the slant that yours and other have. Just a personal preference. Do you make or would you offer a design like that. I just find that the slanted design tends to dig into my "gentlemanly" figure!
I would also like to see a snap on/off design like the way Lou does the CQC/S.
    Thanks, Mike

    Howdy!

Thanks for the feedback. In answer to your question, we put a forward rake on all of our mag pouches because if you actually need to use one, odds are that you be crouching at the time . The forward rake makes it much faster to draw a mag from that position. If the mag bases are digging into your "gentlemanly figure", I would suggest putting base pads on them to alleviate the problem.
As far as a snap-on mag pouch goes, we've got one in the works. I just need to get caught up before I put any more time into finalizing the design.
    Again, thanks for the input.

If you ever need a spare mag, you'll need it in one ******* hurry. A flap on the back can easily get caught between the thumb and the magazine, thus trapping it in place. The only way to avoid that is to sweep the flap back out of the way and grab only the mag, but this requires fine motor skills. In an actual gunfight, fine motor skills go totally out the window. Equipment intended for serious street work should be engineered in such a way as to be able to be operated soley with gross motor skills.
