Suede lined holsters?

I just read the other thread about holster material. I have a Bianchi 7 Shadow, that I like very much. Is there any way to make the suede any less abrasive to my pistol?:scratchchin: Im using one for a Glock 21 for my S&W M&P. Fits great. Do you think it will damage my finish as much as a blued gun (I think the M&P's melonite)? Think it's time to sell? I'm planning on ordering a OWB from UBG when the funds are right, until then I'd like to keep the Bianchi in service as long as it doesnt ruine (sp?) my finish. Thanks for your comments!!

It should not cause to much problem with a M&P's melonite finish. Besides it is a carry gun and should show some wear. Blued will wear more depending on the blued quality.

In my experience, suede tends to hold dirt and grime, which in turn will rub on the gun and accelerate holster wear, BUT any gun you tote in a holster will show some degree of wear.
