Safariland on and off help needed.

Got a Safariland paddle holster for Christmas and love it, but dang it's hard to get on and off. Any tricks of the trade from those that use one for easier on and off?

Easy on and off? It certainly goes on easy, but not so much removing it. I do wear mine for work so I like the security and stability it provides. If you're concerned about removing it often or making it a little easier you can remove the small plastic belt tab.

I'm not sure how well I can describe it, but here is how I get mine off.

Wrap your fingers around the outside of the holster near the bottom.

Insert you thumb between the paddle and your pants.

While pressing inward on the paddle (toward you body) with your thumb, rotate the bottom of the holster up and to the rear.

It may take a little practice, but it does work for me.

I would not suggest defeating the security feature.

Grab the bottom of the holster and push down. While pushing it down move the muzzle up (butt down) while pulling the bottom of the holster out. That's the best way I can describe it. I've found that works best for my 6378 holster.
