I just got that email too. Look interesting but kinda steep for me. Thats a 40 dollar holster you have to wash every day, lol (and I use 70 dollar t-shirt holsters). Might just have to pick up a pair and check them out. Can't really see much a different cause you'll prob still have to untuck, but I will wait till I test them to make a yes or no statement.

Nice, but apparently they don't have big boy sizes.

NRA site does NOT have all the sizes. 511tactical.com shows tons more sizes.

More sizes (at $35.99) shown here:
http://tac2supply.com/index.php?main...roducts_id=107 [NOT a recommendation, as I just found them with Google.]

Waist goes to 44, which is about half a sub too short for me. Bummer. Don't thay know that America is getting fat? I, personally, am a trend setter. I was fat when fat wasn't cool!

    Luv 'em

I have three pairs of the 5.11 jeans. In fact, I am wearing a pair right now.

They are absolutely perfect for pocket carry. The pockets are wide enough to get a good, full grip and have a 'flat' bottom which accomodates most/all pocket holsters very well.

The internal pistol pocket easily hides a BUG, even tucked. The design allows for a much faster draw than SmartCarry or bellybands. The two internal mag pockets are a little difficult to access quickly, especially at first. I still haven't figured out any civilian use for the internal handcuff pocket. Any suggestions?

These jeans are relaxed fit, 100% cotton. They will shrink some after washing, even with cold water and low heat drying. I would suggest one size up from your normal waist size.

    Not Sure...

I wear 5.11 shorts ALL the time, but I'm not sure about jeans...

I still prefer using an IWB holster instead of a pant pocket...just me, I guess...

    Jeans

I live in the PacNW so shorts are seldom an option. Jeans on the other hand fit right in with the mainstream populace.

I also prefer IWB when possible, but the jeans provide a decent alternative for times when a cover garment isn't appropriate.
