I have so much stuff (er...she calls it "junk") that I can easily sell something for $5...go buy some gun or related do-hickey and say, "but Honey...I sold (traded) some stuff to get this.."

Dishonest?..... I prefer to think of it as a survival skill...

+1. But we better be careful, we could get a "spy" wife who gets on this board that can ruin it for all of us.

I have the 2" SP. It also has a Meprolight front sight which should not be a problem. I think that the Meprolight is the same height or shorter than the factory sight.

Congratulations on the up coming gift. You will enjoy the new holster. I have both the Laredo and Eagle defenders from Kevin. Both are wonderful products.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

I got to say that I keep seeing these really nice OWB holsters that several of our members make. And I just might have to take the plunge before too long. All I use these days are IWBs and Shoulder rigs. But these are starting to make me to itch.
