    Budget Crunch Holster.

Due to the fact that my baby boy Boston, had to have a few teeth pulled
at the vet, and it wasn't cheap.

And also that we in WA state have had to pay sales tax on all firearms purchases..
even internet of "gratis" guns..for a couple years now.

My most recent purchase, plus the transfer fee and manadory sales tax left
me quite "Gun Poor" to say the least.

Finding that no holster in the house would fit the XD-S .45

I made a quick message to SHTF GEAR and explained that I loved my
SHTF GEAR products (i.e. CZ RAMI and Glock 42, plus others) but had no funds
    to buy their new designed
    Gen 2 ACE-1 from Amazon for $59.

    http://www.amazon.com/Springfield-Ad.../dp/B00QMJEH1Q

They sent me both a super quick reply and a shipping notice

    So.. here it is:

My favorite hybrid IWB or IWB in general...hand crafted for the XD-S pistols.

Like with my other Gen 2 holsters, the comfort curve and adjustable retention are
    the best features for me.

I didn't quite make it to Wal-Mart, but a quick trip to COSTCO (along with the G42
in my front pocket) was both..very comfortable and comforting.

As one who has used 9mm and .45 ACP for both CCW and police duty over a 25 year
span, I'm not one of those guys who thinks the .45 is vastly superior over 9mm
    or even .38 +P.

These days I think it's more of what you stuff in them and of course, shot placement.

The XD-S in .45 ACP is lighter than my RAMI and also flatter, but know the XD-S in
9mm is a bit heavier than their .45 ACP.

DOUBLE TAP AMMO.NET: Sent me some .45 ACP and .45 GAP ammo a while back,
so I thought it over for a few days, and dropped the plastic on the XD-S .45.

This new to me XD-S (Or XDs) holster from SHTF GEAR should prove to be equally as
fantastic as my past 4 holsters from them.

And also surpass (greatly) a couple other IWB holsters I have from other makers.

You can expect me to report more on this neat XD-S and hybrid IWB combo

I have been using them for several years... Can't go wrong with SHTF gear

I believe only cowhide at this time.

I've never had a problem from sweating on the cowhide and
    hurting my SHTF GEAR holsters.

I'm really impressed with the features of the Gen 2 holsters, and can't
wait for their (eventual) Gen 3 holsters:)

When will they release the new 3 generations coming out? Sound like very good quality and I wearing the stealthgear holster in hot climate (Texas). I'm thinking of buying the leather holster for cold climate. I'm trying to find a horsehide leather holster. I read the reviews and a lot of people telling me that horsehide is excellent for swearing and ability to be waterproof.
