Quick Holster Question for my Kimber Ultra.

I have a Kimber Ultra II and am looking for a holster. Will any holster that says it is made for a 1911 3" barrell fit this gun? Or an Officers model gun? Thanks!!

Well the term officers model is misleading. Some have the shorter frame and can have a 3, 3 1/2 or 4" barrel.

If you stick to the 3" 1911 rule then youre ok looking for a holster.

    Shoot well and god bless

What kind of holster are you looking for? There are many for a kimber ultra that seem to be well made.

The magazine holds 7 rounds, no rail, 3 inch barrell, but the description says it has a shortened frame.

I need an IWB and a OWB holster for it.

Are you wanting a OWB or a IWB? A OWB holster for a 3" with a good belt is fine, but I've found with a IWB holster for a 3" you feel better with a holster with a little more bottom on it. I use the holsters for my 4" ones with my 3" pistols. Then it feels a lot more secure and not top heavy. If you get a holster with the "foot" or "tab" it provides the support and holds the hoster in place.

    Rosen ARG Express - IWB

If you want to carry your Kimber Ultra IWB to take advantage of the gun's thin slide, Mitch Rosen makes a well designed and minimal holster called the ARG Express. This is a $90 holster with an offset belt loop and snap, so the holster can be removed without threading off the belt. The offset belt loop makes for a thinner holster/gun package compared to "summer special" type holsters with belt loops directly on top of the gun.

Here is a photo and link of a Kimbe Ultra in this holster:
