    Pocket Holsters? Who uses them?

As a maker Im trying new designs and styles of holsters all of the time.
I drew this one up years ago and just found the pattern....works like a zillion dollars.

Who uses pocket holsters, what do you carry and who are your favorite makers?????

Personally, my favorite makers for pocket carry have it refined to a bloody art form!

Matt Delfatti, RJ Hedley and PCS..pocket concealment systems. They make art for pocket guns.

Before I started making my own, I used a simple UM #4 Pocket Holster for my P32 and P11. I do like my own better then the UM.

I own one of your pocket holsters Eric which have have used around the house to carry my Taurus 905 9mm revolver:

    She's a beauty.

I used to carry my Kahr PM9 and Kel Tec P3AT (first generation) in kydex pocket holster by David Stillwell at Grandfather Oak Holsters.

The holsters are the Pocket Companion XL (above) and Pocket Companion:

I had a DeSantis Nemesis holster for my P3AT, but mine was probably the only one in America that didn't stay in the pocket when I drew; I would ensure that my finger did not press against the holster.

I've used a pocket holster since I first started carrying. Initially, I used an Uncle Mike's pocket holster for my S&W 442.

It lasted about 11 yrs, until I tried carrying an AMT .380 back-up in it. Due to the rought edge, it tore the Uncle Mike up. So, I bought an unknown maker leather pocket holster from L.A.P.D. association shop for the 442 & even carried my Kahr PM9 in it.

Now, I carry my PM9 in a pocket holster made by UBG holsters. Nate also added a detachable flap, so it looks like a wallet if carried in the back pocket.

    I've had a couple. A Mitch Rosen Pocket Softy, for a S&W 442 (for years). A K&D Pocket Defender, for a KelTec P3AT.

If you've got one for a Kahr PM9, let me know and I'll give it a shot.

I use a Sam Andrews pocket holster and am delighted with it. It conforms to the curvature of my thigh. Prints like a wallet. Is not much bigger than the pistol, a Kimber Ultra Carry II, and doesn't use the wings to retain the holster in my pocket. It gets its retention in my pocket by having the rough out , being a tad roomy and good and stiff. The stiffness also helps with reholstering. It gets a LOT of use. In addition to all of that, you get the pleasure of dealing with Sam Andrews.

Ive actually got a prototype for a PM that I was playing with...so no worries. PM me...

Sisco...Well try the 3" SP with a cheapo pocket holster to see if it fits in your pocket....if its not too big then there are makers who can help you out. The 2" was perfect for me, but think the 3" would be alittle long for my pockets.
