    Holsters are like handbags.

    Holsters are like handbags.

Sounds like the title of a good CCW book. This is my new saying to my wife, she has a handbag for every outfit and it seems like that is how I am going to treat my holsters.

    I have two holsters.
    1. The XD-Gear junk that came with my XD.
    2. My new Fletch High Rise Galco belt holser.

Today I got on the UBG list.

Congrats on your first custom, it won't be your last. Nate's turning out some mighty fine work too, good choice. Which holster did you choose & for what gun?

I ordered the Canute for my XD-45 Service. I have a feeling I am going to like it better than my Galco high rise OWB.

Nope, I can't say "Holsters are like a handbags." to my wife. She would give me ten pounds of her junk to put in it. I'm glad it works for you though.

My wife only has 2 handbags.

I have 2 holsters for each handgun that I routinely carry.

I have a couple of other holsters for guns that I no longer own. Do most women have multiple handbags, like shoes and Imelda Marcos? If so I guess I married good.

Sounds like a horror flick, to me.

Good luck at getting that logic to fly. The nice thing is, a good rig that works IWB on one pair of pants works just dandy on every other (with similar belt loops); a good pocket holster works well in all pants, so long as you purchased those pants with pocket carry in mind; etc. So, ostensibly, we should need far fewer holsters than, say, a closet full of shoes.

okay, I'm holster light. 3 have only 1, 1 has 2 and 1 has 3. I did buy a used P-239 once, had a brown galco paddle with it and a black leather mag holster. pretty ugly combo ... does this make me a holster-fashion snob??? (and yes the sale was in North Idaho ) luteai
