Just ordered the first custom holster with a wait!

Just ordered a Milt Spark Criterion holster. This is the first custom holster that I have had to face a long wait for (they are quoting 16-22 weeks). I was fortunate enough to buy my Black Ops Pro from someone who tried it and didn't like it, so no wait. I now have to put my patience in my back pocket and suck up the wait. I guess I'm about to find out how you all do it!

Take your patience out of your back pocket and put it in a drawer that you rarely open.
Then once day, when you've forgotten all about it...

    Worked for me.

When you look back on it, it won't seem like it was that long at all. It might take 10 or 20 years, but someday the wait will feel like it was short.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the rig Sparks makes a great rig and Tony is a good guy, just try to ignore the wait it is what it is when your dealing with small shops and allot of demand.

    Take care!

I've had a true made to order holster, and it was top notch built to my needs and specs, but in my limited experience the mass produced brands aren't too bad. Just today in go a Desantis pancake style OWB for a P229 that's comfortable, conceals nicely, doesn't block out my pockets, and since it has a thumb break, has plenty of retention. Unless I wanted one that was more decorative than utilitarian, I don't see the reason to spend $100+.
I'm not saying we should kill all the stupid people. I'm saying remove all the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out.

I own 2 VM II's 2 Axiom's 1 Nexus & 1 PMK Milt Sparks holsters and have a big cardboard box full almost new lesser holsters.
Sparks work and are high quality and very comfy.

Sparks are well worth the wait. You will be pleased.

Custom made holsters take time because of the process and scheduling. Remember you're dealing with a handmade item not production or in stock item. So be patient with your delivery time. Their quoted shipping date is only an estimate.

I have a Black Ops Pro that I use every day, so I know that a quality holster is a thing of beauty. I'll just wait it out and post pics when I get it. I never thought about a name for it!!

I'm agonizing over my pending Nelson holster with a 7-9 week lead time. I don't know if I could buy a holster that I would have to wait 4-5 months for.
