    Simply Rugged's Pocket Protector

Got it in the mail yesterday! I think this is gonna be great for summer carry. My 3" SP101 disappears in the front pocket of a pair of Wrangler jeans, just a bit of the grip sticks out. Drawing the weapon is not real fast, I'm going to have to practice with it. I should have ordered one of his ammo pouches for the speed strip when I got the holster.
Now if they'll just make one for my PT1145 MilPro!

I'm a child of the 60's, but I got over it.

You must have some large pockets to even "think" of carrying a Mil Pro PT145 in your pocket. Although, now that I think of it, I used to pocket carry my Glock 26 & the PT145's actually shorter. But it's a heavier gun, though.

No problems pulling the holster out with the SP101? Might help to have something abrasive on the outside of the holster to hold it against your pocket lining. Skateboard tape or velcro? Just a thought.

The MilPro is actually a bit smaller & lighter (unloaded) than the SP.

So far, no problems with the holster pulling out of the pocket. Might not be the case with all types of fabric though, I do wonder how it will work with dress pants. But then again when was the last time I wore a pair of dress pants??:

Yeah, I realized that after I wrote it. I forget that the SP101's are heavy compared to 442's. Both my 442 & PM9 are just over 15 oz. unloaded. My PT145 feels quite heavy compared to them, especially loaded.
