I've got a McDaniel II for my Kahr K40 and it is a great holster, you will want the bodyshield, helps keep the slide from digging into you. It does have a reinforced mouth, but I've not found that to be a problem. If you think it will be, I'm sure Sam can make it without the reinforcement for you. Using a quality belt, like those from Beltman, I've not had any problems with the gun shifting or falling, the band around the mouth of the holster I set on top of the belt and it stays put, with the belt drawn tight. I've found the Mc Daniel mag carrier to be a bit uncomfortable riding IWB.

UBG also makes a great holster, with the two anchor points, as stated by a previous post. Depending on waht gun you are carrying, you may find that preferable, especially with a larger heavier gun.

    I don't own a kydex IWB holster.

what the heck, i'll answer too!

    Both.

Leather is luxurious ... leather is "dressing up" ... leather is like having the fine things in life. It is beautiful, natural, traditional in the best sense.

Kydex is utilitarian, impervious, durable. It is thin, fast on the draw, and modern.

My collection has plenty of room for both.

Personally I like my Crossbreed, it is leather against you and kydex against your pants. It stays put and holds my G19 very well.

I own both of the holsters you mention but my Blade Tech gets used more....by far. I have gone to sleep in my "DAD'S LAZY-BOY" wearing a Sig P245 IWB in a Blade Tech. But Sam is an old and dear friend and I own FIVE of his. Great gear. Extremely high quality.

I'm love the look of a finely finished/boned leather holster-but I'm also a sweathog so I use both kydex & leather.

CTAC w/mods, standard clips or MS VMII w/Comtac clips.

Also waiting on MaxConV, KD Dakota, FIST #20...

Did I mention I collect holsters
Why is it that you always find things at the last place you looked?
Because when you find something-you stop looking-Mooch
