I bought one today for my XD9. No matter what angle I use on the belt or paddle, my draw pulls the grip straight up into my ribs. That really doesn't work real well. Anyone run into this?

Nope, might be the body type you have doesn't work well with the holster design. I have used mine for about a year now, and like it. I have the CQC serpa, BTW.

I have two Serpa CQCs, one for my HK USP Fullsizes (.40 & .45)and one for my HK USP Compact .45. The only problem I have with them is that it's a little bulky. Leaves a little bulge when I'm wearing summer clothing. It's not the holsters fault though, USPs are just bulky.
I guess OWB's just won't work with me during summer. I liked the holster too, just can't deal with drawing into my ribs if I need to. I gotta find something.
Has anyone ever got holsters from Fist, Inc? They had a few that looked like they would work great for me.

I just can't go OWB in the summer. I dont wear "cover shirts" and if I did, everyone that knew me would know something was up. If you have'nt tried IWB , I think you should. I have'nt ordered from Fist , but I'm sure you can't go wrong there.
Never had that problem with mine either. I didn't find IWB carry comfortable until I bought "The Answer" from Tucker gun leather. A bit pricey compared to others, but WELL WORTH THE MONEY! It really is the answer to wasted time and money on other sub standard holsters.
Looks like the Crossbreed style holsters, yet more expensive.

I didn't compare the quality of the two, just said they look alike. The Crossbreeds obviously look much more well made.
