Question Newbie in search of IWB Holster

Hi all, this is my first post. I am buying a Taurus PT-111 Millenium (my first handgun) from my neighbor. I know it's not the best gun, but it is a steal at $250, since I know it's history and that it has been well cared for. It has only had 20 shot through it and it's stainless. Anyway. I am in need of an IWB holster and would value your opinions. I have been looking at the Bianchi 3S. What do you guys think of this holster?

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for something reliable, but reasonably priced. Thanks.

    Welcome to the forum.

A good place to start looking is up under "Help and Information" in the lower blue bar. you can get to a good list of holster related sites from there.

And of course folks will be along shortly to voice their opinions!

I have a Taurus Pt 140 which is pretty much the same size as your Pt111. I use the Bianchi Pro and like it alot.

I tried dozens and this is my favorite hands down. www.comp-tac.com the C.T.A.C. holster. You can't go wrong here.

The Galco Summer Special will get you started and isnt all that expensive. But quality wont begat comfort until you get a good custom one.

I don't think you can go wrong with a MaxCon V for Brommeland Leather. You will hear a lot of good reviews on here about his stuff.

+1 for the MAX CON V from brommeland gun leather. I own two, and wear one everyday....don't think you can get any better. Give Gary and Remy a call, and just talk to them about your wants and needs in a holster. They will give you good info and feedback, and if their product isn't what you want, they will discuss others that may have something.

In leather I'd say go for the Brommeland Max Con V or VI. In kydex look at the Comp-Tac Infidel Ghurka strut and belt loops or belt clip. In hybrid, I'd say the Tucker Gunleather "The Answer" or if on a tighter budget look at the Crossbreed line of holsters.

I will add another vote for something from K&D Holsters (http://kdholsters.com/) I recently received the Cochise Defender from them and it is great. IMHO, it is one of the nicest holsters available at a very fair price!! Kevin is an artist who uses leather. Great gear!!
