I wear the Perry Suspenders under my shirt. That way they are hidden (my wife absolutely refused to allow me to wear suspenders, and this was the compromise )

    This works very well!

    Thanks!

Dang, you know, I never considered having the outer shirt tucked in. I wear polo's mainly and they are never tucked. I'm not sure it would work in that situation since you have the attachment point on the belt itself. Unless some type of j-hook v-clip or something were crafted.

    Thanks!

Let me ask you this...which would look "more stupid" on you - suspenders? Or your pants down around your ankles?

I am a fat boy...and in this world we live in, there are two kinds of fatboys...ones that wear suspenders, and ones that SHOULD wear suspenders!

I have been experimenting with "tuckable" suspender clips for a little while now. Was even going to patent the idea until I found someone already did in 2003, however I have yet to see there idea for sale...

My prototype works well, still need to few design improvements though. But it is possible just so you know :)

Something occurred to me this morning.

If those Perry jobbers are like clips that slip under your belt, what happens when you have to sit on the toilet?

Do the dang things just slip from under belt and fall to the floor? :o)

(I know this is a family group, but it *is* a legitimate question.)

Nope, just unhook 'em and they stay on your shoulders while your pants are on the floor (soaking up that lil' puddle). Drop your drawers, do your business, hitch up your britches, cinch up your belt, and hook 'em back on! It's that simple!

Oh...and don't forget your iron lying there on the toilet paper dispenser!

I just ordered a pair. I like the clip under the belt, and that saves a lot of trouble when one wants to get out of them for whatever reason.
It does keep one from having to tighten the belt excessively tight.

I hope that the loops will fit a thick gun belt such as the RafterS. I guess I'll soon know.

Thanks for the info and link.

    Best,
    Jerry

They will fit. I used mine on my 2 1/4" Bianchi Accumold duty belt before I got my Uncle Mike's duty suspenders and they worked just fine. If they don't - let me know and I'll buy 'em from you...I could always use another pair.

I promise you...the Perry's are the best there is - especially for the money! You can pay $35 for a pair of Filson's and start installing buttons on ALL of your pants, or pay $15 for a pair of Perry's and get you a good GUNbelt, and be good to go!

I must be DAIN BRAMAGED but I've got a set of those and I can't figure out how they work! I'm that classic pear shape (but workin' on it) and I'm tired of havin' to HITCH up my 5*11's all the time while wearing a 45 IWB!

Perry's are good and a less expensive alternative are Dickie's work suspenders. Have a clip that slides under your belt so it is holding your belt up, not the pants. Very comfortable and they can be bought at Wal-Mart for about $10 to $15 dollars. They can be found with the work gloves and coveralls.

I have 2 pair and they work great.
