    Suggestions For The Wife

My wife is looking for a good CCW holster for a Kahr MK9. In the summer she wears a lot of skirts and summer dresses.

She is leaning towards getting a thigh holster, she has looked at two, one is kind of like a thigh buddy band, and the other is an inside of the thigh--thigh holster.

She is looking for other options other than a buddy band.

Do you have any feedback on these holsters, or any other suggestions?

    Thanks in advace.

There are a couple of women who carry on the forum, and I'm sure that they'll chime in with some advice. As a guy, the best advice I can give on learning about concealed carry for a woman is to take a look at corneredcat.com. There's a lot of great info there on holsters and dressing to carry for women.

Smartcarry holster would be a very good option for her and most likely much more comfortable. Here is the link www.smartcarry.com

Unfortunately my better half like to uses her "bag/purse", which she frequently leaves in the car. Smart carry would work well for her but her 3913LS would be a tad large for there.

My wife bought a MacDaniel II crossdraw holster from Andrews Leather. Quality is excellent and she likes the way it rides with her Kimber Ultra Carry. Overall it was a good choice for her in a holster. While running errands in town which involve a lot of stops she still prefers handbag carry. I found it best to simply suggest some options and let her make the final decisions. I don't argue with her, she shoots better than I do.
