Holster Advice please

I'm happiest so far with a leather backed offset loop IWB like the Crossbreed Supertuck. Offset loop means the loops or clips are in front of and behind the gun, not right against it. This makes less of a bulge, and makes the holster more stable. Mine also works fine with any belt, little advantage to a dedicated gunbelt. I'm carrying an XD subcompact, so i've got a bit less grip than you.

The downside is you need a bit of room in your pants. I was just about to outgrow most of my pants, wound up slowly replacing them with the next size up. If you are sucking in your gut to button your britches, you probably won't be able to IWB in those.
