This is my minigun, power source and 10,000 rds in a discreet backpack

    slightly more serious

Well here is the lastest addition to the holster box, it is a Blackhawk pancake holster with an adjustment screw for tension. The holster is very new so it is a bit of a struggle to get the gun in or out. It is comfortable, however I would prefer one with a sweatguard and positive retention, such as a thumb snap. The mag carrier is made by an Italian firm. the firearm is a Sig Elite229 in .40cal (with a 9mm and very soon 357Sig barrel) The gun is not fully in the holster, I looked at the picture and realized it was not fully seated.

    That is sharp!
    - You never need a gun until you need one very badly.

    - Running is for people who don't have ammo.

Mine is a Glock G29 in an Mtac holster.

This one is a bit more difficult to conceal.

What holster is that? I've been toying with the idea of trying a shoulder holster.

What's the deal with that mag release? Is there an advantage to it or just cosmetic? You got me wonderin.

My hands aren't big enough to hit the stock release without changing my grip. I shoot IPSC, USPSA, speed steel etc. Every time you change your grip to drop a mag, you have to re-grip the gun. Doing so takes time, and time counts in the shooting sports. It can also change your point of aim, changing your point of impact. Getting and maintaining the exact same grip every time is important.

I have the same trouble with my Para Warthog. I also have the Hogue wrap around grips with might make it more difficult. Who did you get that release from?

Sorry it took a while to get back....
The holster in pic is a Bianchi "tuxedo model", very lightweight, no frills. Got it from Natchez catalog a while back. I also have a Federal holsterworks "sidewinder" shoulder rig, but it's not as comfortable as the Bianchi.
