Good idea on the spraypaint;) Those look like the normal clips though, the J-clips go between the pants and belt, then ride up under the bottom of the belt.

Here is a picture I just snagged off a search. Which actually I don't think that comp-tac makes J-clips they may have at one time but it appears the C-clips are their replacement and they actually seem to allow the weight of the gun to ride on the belt which is a failure in my opinion to J-clips. They rely on the friction of the holster and the top of your pants to hold the gun up, pretty much removing a good gun belt from the situation.

Either way nice setup:) Just wanted to make sure folks reading this didn't order J-clips hoping to get what your sporting(if I'm correct, sure looks like it from the photo's though).

    Take care

    Luke

That's great. I suppose that's your track and field gun? I'm going to have to get me one of those rigs.

Great thread. I've had my CCW for about a month now but haven't carried do to not having holsters yet along with only having two guns. One being a Ruger LCR and the other being the Ruger P95 - which I consider too big to be concealed. After seeing all these pics I may reconsider though. I've been caught up on size, but from the looks of it size is as big an issue as I have been previously led to believe. I have also been very convinced of IWB, but again, after seeing this thread it seems this too isn't as big an issue as I thought. Thanks for sharing everyone. I'm probably going to have to start wearing more button down shirts when I start carrying though. I'm 6'4" 195 pounds. Hard to find t-shirts large enough to conceal.

Sweet! We have the exact same gun and holster! That's an SP101, right? I think I want a Kimber Eclipse II. I want something nice and shiny. I will probably get a holster than goes inside the belt. I don't know what the technical name for those would be. Either way, nice gun and what not!

Better then pics are vids. I compete the exact same way that I CCW. I dress the same way minus the hat and 2 of 4 spare mags on my off side.

Holster is Raven Concealment and so is my double mag pouch. Gun is a 21sf with 10 round mags down loaded to 9 for reliability and ease of mag changes. I load the mags to 10 for competition but for CCW having that pressure on the mag catch all day I dont think is a great idea.

I have been doing this style of shooting for just a year now but with this gun only about 3300 rounds. I started with a 1911 then an HK and settled with the glock and Raven rig. My job requires me to be upclose with people and I am able to conceal just fine. A few people have given me the "thank you" touch to the side and flat handed my glock but I dont react and they dont seem to ask any questions.

Well here are a few vids for you guys for my first post:

Tmacon... I've looked through all of these posts... with the exception of the cel/pager pal and perhaps the concealed carry underwear (the latter which I will not consider)... your rig is by far the best concealed carry of the pics...

    >>>>IN MY OPINION<<<<<

As an aside, it looks like the Duluth Trading belt does it's job for you...

Here's what I see in most of the other pics....

It's easy to conceal under black outer shirt.... You are using a lightweight and light colored shirt.

It's easy to conceal under a hawaiian shirt, yours has no pattern to help break it up....

It's easy to conceal under a jacket, you ain't wearing one...

Your belt doesn't have a funny bend in it where the slide/barrel crosses it.

Your hip (gun side, in the jeans) does not look as though you have an abnormal growth on it...

The only "tell" I see in your carry arrangement is the one extra notch let out of the belt.

I am about to get my CCW (again, after a ~30 year hiatus) I always used to carry strong side, under a jacket, OWB... A Colt Detective .38Spc....

My carry guns of choice now, will be either a Kel-tec .32 or .380 (which I don't have yet) in a wallet-type holster.
    Or:
    a CZ vz.82
    Or:
    a P64 (both of which I own).

Strong side tuckable for the P64 (it's slim enough to carry as well as yours is).

The CZ, being a 12+1 double stack may have to be relegated to a pager/cell pal holster... I have tried other concealed holsters with the CZ and it does not disappear as well as I would like in anything else tuckable.

I am a firm beleiver in not having to dress "around the weapon," with the exception of finding the right holster to accomplish concealment in everyday attire... And, of all the pics here, I think yours fits the bill best.... Again, that is only my opinion.

That holster feels very solid. I can't recommend it enough.
I CC with the Serpa 2. Carry a Glock 22 in it when I do. Like TN_Mike, I can't recommend it enough. Lightweight, breaths well, and is great for a cocked and locked situation as it covers the trigger. Has a handy little button that you push to release from the holster and automatically positions your trigger finger in the perfect position. Did not think I was going to like it but it is far more comfortable than my old leather Galco.

I am 6'4", 300 lbs. So full size guns and tactical holsters are not too difficult to conceal. I where a suit and tie to work and boots wranglers and "mechanics" shirts on the weekends. So either way, it is concealed under clothing.
I am now looking for one for the Sig P220 Carry I bought and plan to carry.
