I finally was able to make some Ruger LC9 holsters for myself. I have a belt, an IWB, and an OWB. I find that both are useful. I don't have a pic of me actually wearing them yet. Our county fair is next week and I want to enter them and maybe win a ribbon or two.

Here is the IWB and belt.lc9RigCropped.JPG

And this one is for OWB. lc9OwbWhiteCropped.JPG

This one is just for fun. lc9SkullOwbCropped.JPG

Here's some pics of my Whitehat holster.

I'm on my phone and I don't have a pic of my actual holster just by itself.

Flasher, I won't comment on the gut, but your chest seems to blur... Is that the result of a chemical imbalance or do you just get your chest to vibrate really quickly?

    Look ma, no clips.

I was trying to find a way to carry IWB without clips showing. I tried velcro clips but I kept having problems with the back clip coming off and then the holster would start riding up inside my pants. Plastic or metal clips were totally out. I work in a small office and people would ask what they were. This works beautifully. No clips. Gun stays put and at a pretty decent cant so the butt doesn't print unless I really bend over and twist. I do blouse my shirt quite a bit. More to hide the bulge at the waistband that to hide the butt of the pistol. Please be kind. I've given up a fair bit of my dignity here.

Whiteox!!! Great idea. I have this holster and i love it. While its not TOO hard to conceal, its not as easy as iwb. Ill have to try this. The only thing is i wouldnt want to wear two belts.

I have found my system doesn't work well with jeans. They tend to slide down on the holster. It works wonderfully with my dress pants. The two belts thing hasn't been an issue except for the plastic buckle. It takes a little fiddling with to get it in the right spot but once it's there it's really pretty comfortable. This isn't my all the time carry but it does work great for me during the work day. The real advantage for me is that I often have to go into prohibited locations. With this system there is no metal in the belt or holster so all I have to do is remove the pistol and the spare mag in the pocket and secure them in the car and I'm good to go. It's a lot easier to deal with than pulling an IWB holster with velcro clips. At home it's the 239 in an MTAC or an LCP in the pocket.

Looking through all of the pics it appears that the slight curvature of a revolver's handle makes them a little better suited for IWB carry than the semi-autos.

Not that semi-autos don't conceal well, but the curvature on the handles of revolvers seem to follow the contour of the body a little better.
