For non work I carry in the same position with a
BearCreek Holsters IWB. Same 12deg cant on both.

BTW I unloaded the weapon and dropped the hammer prior to
shooting the pic. <safety first>

This combo works for me all year in the Florida climate.

yes it fits like a glove.
No thumb-break, but it.s molded to the gun really nicely.
They sell on ebay too, heres a LINK to the one I have.

It holds close like it should.
Most others I've tried dont, and thats a MUST for a CC OWB.

I've come full circle. By that I mean I'm back to carrying with a Milt Sparks VMII.

In the past 6 years or so I have tried about every carry option there is. Pocket carry, ankle carry, shoulder holster, SOB, AIWB, etc. I have spent a ton of money on holsters and different carry guns.

I've come back to what worked for me front he beginning. A compact Glock (23) and a Milt Sparks VMII.

Now I'm not saying the Diamondback DB9 doesn't ride in my right front pocket, or that I still don't sometimes carry my Glock 27 on my ankle when I'm going to be in a situation where I am hugging a ton of people, or that for quick trips to the store I won't put the P229 in a Dale Fricke Archangel and carry it AIWB because I still do all of those things. Just not as often.

I have a VMII for every one of my carry guns because they just pure work for me.

Not to confuse you, I'm right handed. The last pic was taken in the mirror.

First that was a very cheap universal holster. And if anyone lets a holster get that worn out and nasty they deserve the shot to the butt. LOL. You won't have to worry about that with a good,top of the line holster.
