    Woolrich Elite Series

For those of you that use them, what do you think? The benefit for me is that it has the elastic band in the waist. As I am in the process of working out and losing weight, I figured that would be good as I wouldn't need to buy a new size in a month or so. How much give does the band give you? Do you order them in regular waistsize for IWB or order them one size smaller and let the band work as a retention accessory?

I'm looking to order this weekend, any help would be great.

I think they're the same as 5.11 pants. they both have elastic. As someone who has to wear them for work, I don't care for them. I prefer standard BDUs. I find they slip down a bit, especially with a duty belt on.

Why do they slip? Too big, not enough retention, the fabric is slippery? Your belt isn't tight enough?

I have heard good things about the Woolrich clothes but have not tried them yet. I did order two pair of shorts today.

I know some people have had problems with Botach but I have ordered at least a dozen times from them with zero problems, but anyway they are having a 30% off sale on all Woolrich clothes.
They also have Glock mags for less than $14.

I think it's the elastic that allows the pants to pull down more so than non-elastic pants. Having 10lbs of gear on your belt doesn't help either but I don't have that problem when wearing my duty belt with BDUs. I do plan to buy a pair of their discreet pants for off duty use and flying armed. They don't scream tactical nerd like the cargo pocket models.

That's the other reason I liked them. The Discreet models that nearly look like standard pants of some kind. And they come in colors.
