Shoulder rig for a Ruger 22.45
What would you guys recommend as a good, comfortable shoulder holster for the Ruger 22.45 target pistol? I was looking at the Hunter shoulder holsters (basically its a shoulder harness that allows you to convert their leather belt holsters into a shoulder holster) but I wasn't sure how comfortable it would actually be. What do you guys think?

Are you wanting this rig for hunting? If you want this for carry concealment, in my opinion a heavy bull barreled 22 target pistol might not be a good choice for carry concealment.

On the basis that a L frame revo can sho rig carry if all is set up right then I doubt the weight of the 22/45 will be a problem - main deal might be finding suitable holster containment for the shape.
It's probable too any rig for this size and weight would need a tie down to belt for control and easier draw. I don't know of anything 'ready made' that I can think of.

Whoops, sorry, should have mentioned. Personally I'm planning on using this rig for hunting and/or basic running around the ranch duties, but at the same time in the colder months when I have to wear a coat I wouldn't mind the aesthetic value of it not bulging out on one side :-D. I tried the old military 1911 shoulder holster and found it extremely uncomfortable.
So think comfort before concealability.

A while back I used to try to hunt with a 357. I borrowed a holster from a buddy that also handgun hunt. It was a leather shoulder holster that your gun rested on your chest. I think it was made by safariland but its been too long to remember.
