    Whats best off the shelf

With the high demand on custom holsters these days what do you guys feel is the best mass production maker, model, etc is. I would be really curios if they dare to hear what some of our custom makers think they would buy while waiting. I have always bought Don Hume open tops in the past to get me bye till the custom comes, then the Hume becomes the hiking, bush beating holster.

Galco makes very good holsters. I have several!

    Galco or some Desantis models.

Galco is more pricey, but better quality than Desantis IMHO, but as Desantis is less expensive, you can usually find a good on-the-rack selection at many shops.

Galco makes good leather, for off the shelf stuff, but don't rule out kydex from Comp-Tac. It's usually available pretty quick and is great stuff.

    Galco, Bianchi or Safariland.

Personally I like custom leather and I'm willing to pay for it.

I'll mention Don Hume since a lot of their stuff can be found in stock.

A good value for the money!

I've had good experience with Galco and Desantis
also, I like my Predator holsters but I don't know if they're still in business or not, the web site either changed or they quit having one

I am another that has used a Don Hume - to ''carry me over'' until the real thing arrives

Never had a Galco but the ones I have seen look nice, if spendy.

Ross Leather is a pretty good OTS product, too.

I would have to give a thumbs up for Galco. I have several and they have served me well!

Galco is one of my first choices. Bianchi is as well.

I would suggest that you either call LA Sports/Lightning Arms - they have DelFatti, Alessi and Sparks holsters in stock, or Coal Creek Armory (They carry my stuff). Another source would be Brownell's - they also stock Sparks.
There are very few factory made concealment holsters that I'd trust my life to...
