I got my new Galco IWB holster today and during the testing of my holstering skills (or lack there of), I managed to pinch my side so badly that it blistered. Man it hurt!

I got my new Galco IWB holster today and during the testing of my holstering skills (or lack there of), I managed to pinch my side so badly that it blistered. Man it hurt!

I was switching a mag out with my CCW on me, and when I placed the new mag into it, and slammed the mag in the last little bit for a good seated mag, PINCH!!! My goodness it frikin hurt. I was dang near crying. Not only did it draw a little blood, but I then had a cut where my CCW gently rubs against my side. Took band-aids for a few days to cover it up for comfort. You're not alone BigRed. lol!

Not the holster's fault but I managed to put a nice cut in my 0430 dunlop with the safety of my Springfield one day. The leather at the top of my IWB was being pushed out so that as I holstered my weapon the protruding safety bit the crap out of me as it hit the pinch of flab resting over the top of the holster!

Reminds me of a situation a few years back. I had little experience with holsters and got a Fobus for a Glock. Wanting to show my wife how well it worked, I said "Watch this..." and drew...the holster didn't release the gun smoothly and there I stood struggling with it like Barney Fife. A new holster can humble a man!
