Question...I have a UBG holster and mag carrier....what do I do if the leather for the mag carrier stretches--instead of holding the mags securely (i.e. won't fall out when upside down, or laid on the side) the mags fall out

I'm picking up a Colt Detective Special to celebrate 'Missouri buy a gun day', Aug 28th. On that day, the old 'Jim Crow' law requiring Missouri citizens to ask for (and pay for) permission from their local Sherriff's office to purchase a handgun will stand repealed.
I emailed Nate and asked about a nice 'picnic' type of holster for my NIB, unfired, 1978 Colt. He just happened to have a like new iquana skin OWB 'pancake' holster made for his own Colt DS that he wasn't using anymore. I had it in my sweaty little hands in 48 hours. Great craftsmanship, beautiful skin... I couldn't be happier. Well... I guess I could be happier, if I had the Colt to put in it, but that'll have to wait another month :( I'll post pics of gun and holster, when I can put the two together.
I'll be buying my next holster from UBG, for sure.
Liberty is an inherently offensive lifestyle. Living in a free society guarantees that each one of us will see our most cherished principles and beliefs questioned and in some cases mocked. It's worth it.

"what do I do if the leather for the mag carrier stretches-"
I'd talk to the manufacturer first, but often if you soak the leather (only in the area you want to change) and let it air dry, it will shrink substantially. You still need to talk to the manufacturer to find out what kind of leather it is, whether it will degrade if soaked, and whether you need to oil it upon drying. If you go this route, put the mag (wrapped in plastic) in and leave until thoroughly dry...

Both of mine are scheduled to hit the table in a day or so. Ordered two Canutes with double mag holders, one for me, one for my son. Pleasure working with Nate, up front on things. I wanted my son to have good equipment for his first rig, so this should work out well. Now, on to Brigade Leather for my new Sig P220 SAS...Look for a report once I get it in.
I know, I know, you are smarter than me..just ask you..

You may wet it and kinda mold it around the mag, then remove the mag and let it dry. It won't hurt the leather. If this doesn't work to your liking, I'll replace it. No problem. Let me know what you wanna do, preferably via email.

Very nice work!
I have them Sam's Club flashlights as well, for $25/2 and 80 lumens?
Why is it that you always find things at the last place you looked?
Because when you find something-you stop looking-Mooch
