You carry your gun in your shoe? Doesn't that hurt?

depends where ya live i guess. 109 here in GA with high humidity sucks! grand praises to whomever invented the air conditioner.
War is not the ugliest of things. Worse is the decayed state of moral feeling which thinks nothing is worth a war. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which he cares for more than his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free. -J.S. Mill

Something I tried with sneakers but never tested with a leather holster was tu put them in a plastic bag and leave them in the freezer for 24 hours. The cold kills the bacteria which is the real culprit for smelly shoes, however I do not know what kind of effect it will have in a leather holster.

It's been over 100 degrees here for much of the last week or so with humidity like a swiming pool. My leather gear just keeps on performing like the day I bought it- I do a quick wipe down of holster and gun when I take it off for the day and I've yet to have any problems.

Body chemistry may have something to do with the odors your friend is transferring to his holsters. For my use, nothing beats finely crafted leather.
