Carry in a vehicle? How about this holster?

Johnny Gardner at www.grassburr.com supplied me with this holster for my vehicle. I know it's ornate but what do you think.
It can be mounted a number of ways for quick access.

It is a very fine looking holster, if I may comment about the keeper over the hammer. I don't care for that as it may impact a 1911 style hammer in some fashion but not having the holster in front of you to actually get a feel of it I don't know how vaild my point is. Leather is beautiful.

How easy is it to break the snap? Looks like it's right over the hammer, or do my eyes deceive me?

Yes. The draw is very quick as the snap releases quickly. It's made for the Ruger P345. If i Had it for my 1911 the strap would be inside the hammer, as I carry it cocked and locked.

The snap on it was ornate as a thank you from Johnny. This holster was quite similar to the one they had at the 2005 Shot show. Basically, the gun can be mounted virtually anywhere with the mounting setup. On or in a nightstand, closet, table etc.
