Rub regular white candle wax on it. That should stop it.

If anyone asks, "What is that squeaking sound?" Just tell them it is your prosthetic leg that needs oiled!

Brush some baby powder on the areas that are squeaking. You might need to repeat that every few weeks or so, but it's cheap and effective.

Lou Alessi recommends talcum powder. I've never tried candle wax, but it sounds like it would work.

Have you tried standing on your head???

No...., the powder, or the wax, perhaps a little silicon spray, but not much.

Definitely no petroleum jelly, No oil, etc.

Mitch Rosen sells something called "Leather Lightening". It's liquid wax in some kind of carrier. It does not penetrate leather, and will absolutely not dissolve into leather. What it does is leave a thin film of "slicker than snot" wax on top of leather. It's meant to help with the draw on a new, tight holster, but also works wonders on squeaks.

I don't have a connection to Mitch, nor do I own any of his leather (I'm all Brommeland), but Leather Lightening is very good, slick stuff.
