Nice work on the Kydex holster, very nice. A related question: where did you find the heat-resistant foam? I've been using a couple of sheets of blue camping mat foam from Academy, and it works but just barely.
I've seen such foam listed on the Texas Knifemaker's Supply web page, but is it likely to be found elsewhere?
I have found the foam hunter seat pads work well. while hi heat will wreck em, I have used em on my kydex builds with good success.

I ordered some from knifekits.com.
FWIW, I'm a stock novice, but if I were to do it again I'd consider getting two sets instead of one. I think making some sort of press where you can apply a decent amount of pressure would be good too.
The foam is stiffer than I had expected.
I'll check that out. Of course, I have to order some more Kydex soon, so I may end up breaking down and ordering some foam while I'm at it.
