    Thumbs up Beltman: excellent workmanship

Just received a pair of belts that I ordered on August 12, from The BeltMan (aka, chief cook & bottle washer, Jim Speidel).

Belt #1: 1-1/2" double-layer bullhide, tapered end, no insert, tan w/ nickel buckle.

Belt #2: 1-1/2" double-layer bullhide, tapered end, no insert, black w/ black buckle.

Very nice workmanship. Basic, strong stitches. No extraneous embellishments, so they're a good value. Solid-looking and -feeling leather. Holds each of my holsters tightly against the body and don't allow sagging (Fist #2 OWB, Fist #17A-1 IWB, BladeTech paddle, Simply Rugged's sourdough pancake). These belts should last quite a while. Another belt I have is from Kramer Leather. Though these two are not quite as heavy as the Kramer belt in either thickness or weight, they each are a bit more comfortable and work well. Nice bonus to have received them in less than a month.

Nice looking belts. Glad to hear that you found Jim (TheBeltMan). I had the same experience as well. You'll most likely never need to buy another belt.

Yep... I have a 1.5 inch double layer bullhide. Best belt I own!

And a perfect match for any custom holster you may have.

I definitely see more Beltman Gunbelts in my future!

Nice looking belts. I'm sold on them too, I recently got a 1 1/4" double bull hide and it's great.

    Ken,

You won't be disappointed! The double layer bullhide really can't be beat in both quality and durability!

Plus he has nice range of variety!

You want velcro lined, a plastic stiffener between the layers, tapered ends, choice of buckles, horse hide or exotic skins? He's got it all!

(Even a choice of "hole spacing" on the end of the belt!)

Btw... I think the Black Powder Coated Square Buckle looks great! Very durable finish so far!

I bought a belt from Gunners Alley a while back and it looks exactly like the belts in the picture. Does The Belt Man make those belts for them?
