Will it fit the 40 sig 239. Jackass says it is only for the 9mm.

Go to www.andrewsleather.com . If you like Sam Andrews' products, give him a call, he's a great guy to talk to and will answer all your questions.

Nice holsters but any ideas about a lower priced option?

The rig I have works for me, but at $85, not sure this fits the bill of a lower-priced option. If you google enough, you might find a better bargain.

Bianchi 4620 Tuxedo Shoulder Holster System

I've got the "size 06" - carryies a Ruger P40 very well. Since the P40 is a full-sized .40SW it takes a jacket or sport coat to conceal in the shoulder rig. Hope this helps...

We are Galco & Bianchi factory authorized dealers and sell a lot of shoulder rigs. We do not recommend the Tuxedo rig unless the money situation is critical and you do not expect to carry for prolonged periods of time. This is really an entry level system.

For another $50, you can move into Galco's superb shoulder systems and have a much better carry that is much more comfortable. The 296 holster component is designed to accomodate both 9mm and .40 cal P239's and there is a tension adjustment at the trigger guard, if necessary. The only drawback is that Galco does not currently produce an HCL (horizontal) mag carrier component for single stack 9's and that limits mag carry to the traditional flapped, vertical "Miami Classic" type.

You could still opt for the newer Miami Classic II harness, a much more comfortable harness than the old Classic.

For a relatively small gun like that, the Ken Null SMZ might not be a bad idea:

One might find that the traditional MC style shoulder holster has a lot of weight and bulk overhead, just for a small gun.

    Sam Andrews: An Investment

My wife loves her Monarch Rig. Expensive, yes. Worth the money, Yes! What is the price of comfort and high quality to you? Anyway, here are a couple of pics of a Monarch:
