Question Opinions on Galco PLE UNLINED PADDLE HOLSTER

Anyone have any experience with the Galco PLE UNLINED PADDLE HOLSTER?

Over the summer I've pocket carried. For the winter, I would like to find an OWB option, something like a paddle hoster might be the ticket. Any opinions and info would be appreciated.

Also, any thoughts on thumbreak or open top? Lined or unlined? Leather or polymer?

Hi ctr I had a galco paddle rig a few years ago for a glock and it worked ok. As a general rule a pddle holster does not conceal as well as a belt holster would, just two differant animals really. That being said with a small gun such as your ppk/s it might work for you in the winter, and don't forget a good solid gunbelt. Have you looked at galco's belt holster the concealable? I prefer open top designs myself and once carried a ppk in this same set up it worked nicely. As far as lined or unlined well lined will cost a little more money but will protect the finish of your gun longer if your concerned with that. I hope I've been helpful to you.

Thanks for the input 1911luver. I am primarily interested in a paddle hoster because it would seem to offer the same conveinence as my pocket holster. Get to work, take the holster off and put away. Go to lunch, put the holster back on. Come back from lunch, take the holster off and put away...you get the picture. I am also thinking of switching from my PPK/S to a Smith 360 sc if that makes any difference.

As far as design goes, the PLE is pretty well a paddle-mounted FLETCH, with the attending thumb-break. I prefer the Concealed Carry Paddle and that one is an open top Concealable mounted on a paddle base.
