    Cheap Temporary Belt

Hello y'all. I have a Galco SB11 belt (44). I started this new diet and now the belt doesn't feel tight anymore. I am now down to a 38! My poor SIG is loosing stability. So, in an act of desperation, I bought a Wrangler (work) belt from Wally Martinez. It is holding for now, not as stable as my good 'ole Galco, but still better than nothing. My question, money is tight right now and so does anyone know of a good stable CHEAP gun belt, to hold me over until I get a nice fat check from work. That Galco belt cost me a little over $100 when times were great. There is another Galco belt, the MB1 Matrix belt, that is being sold for $24.95 on their website. What do y'all think about that belt? Is it worth it? Anyone have this belt? If so, do you like it? loathe it? want to sell it?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that this belt also has to be used for work as well. And I work as a limo driver. So the belt has to at least have a "dressy" buckle. If that wasn't the case, I would jump the wilderness belt or an instructors belt.

BUT, thank-you for the heads up. Never know, I might just end up buying one for when I am off from work.

The kydex belt is what I have. I think it was around $35.00 or so.

I bought a belt fabed from saddle leather at a local trade center vendor for under $20. I lose weight and they will resize it free of charge.

LOL.. good luck on finding a belt.
FYI on the Wallmart belts.. I went thru 2 in 4 months. That was with carrying a G30 in an IWB holster.. The eyelets gave out, then the belt basically ripped in half where it was hooked on the buckle. Just to save you some $$.

+1 for the kydex belts Looper Leather makes.

The buckles are removable so you can change to anything you like. Nice stiff leather belts, like a kydex sandwich.

You need to call them to place an order.

Marine rigger's belt is my favorite. Several colors available, infinitely adjustable, sturdy.

The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

How about cutting yours down or having someone do it for you. Wouldn't think it would be that big of a job.

Thought about it, but I am not sure how to even go about that. Where do I cut? What do I sew with? Will the durability be the same? Will the Colts go to the Superbowl this year? These are important questions that I need answers to before i chop up my belt.

Take it to a shoe repair shop and ask, including what they might charge you.
