How do you carry in wintertime?
I'm finding the best method for me to carry is in a front zip pocket on the outside of my coat. I'm finding that carrying in an iwb holster underneath layers of clothing and a heavy coat would seem almost impossible to get to quickly if I'm attacked. I carry my weapon from the house to the car in a Wilderness Safepacker, with the compartment unzipped. However, it's not convenient to carry it into restaurants, etc.
How do the rest of you carry in cold weather when you may be outside for awhile, yet not away from other people?

I like to switch from IWB to OWB during the winter months but my weapon is always in the same spot! When the deification hits the ventilation, I know what I practiced is what I'll do... so that's why I always carry in the same place. I just don't zip my jacket/coat.
ALWAYS carry! - NEVER tell!

Although I carry IWB in summer, I really prefer OWB for comfort reasons. Now that the weather is cooler/colder, I wear jackets and sweatshirts which easily conceals anything.
I carry a Para .45 in a Desantis scabbard or sometimes in a Fobus.
IWB is a Milt Sparks VMII which (believe it or not) I sometimes carry OWB between the belt and pants.

Depends on what I'm doing, most often I still carry IWB and/or pocket, and add a Centennial to my outter coat pocket, which hangs out in the center console while driving. I carry a longer folding knife to compensate for the additional material I might need to cut.

First, I pick a holster that goes with my 'longer' shorts...
Wait a minute...that's what I always do anyway!
Not a problem in the GunShine State...I don't miss the MI snow...

Same as in summer. I don't change ammo types or calibers based on season.

Same as I do in the summer. I carry a full size M&P OWB at 3:30 year around.

I carry the same as always. Just leave the coat open take the cold.
