K&D makes a great OWB. I have the eagle defender and it carries high and tight. Very well made.

    Kramer or DeSantis belt scabbard

I would suggest a belt scabbard type of OWB holster, made with stiff leather that covers much of the gun, right up to the grip area. A short barrel gun in a high ride belt holster is a little top heavy, and can rotate outwards, away from your body, without the good support of a holster that covers much of the gun.

I have a Kramer horsehide belt scabbard for my 642 revolver, and it is excellent although a little expensive. It is shown below:

A cheaper alternative that works very well is the DeSantis speed scabbard. It is similar to the Kramer in overall design. I have one for a Colt Detective Special and it works well:

I'm with Pogo2 on the Kramer. I use several of their holsters. Well worth the price.

Take a look at the Blackhawk CQC Speed Classic. Excellent quality and reasonably priced.
