Holster review G&G Gold line IWB

    Hey all,
After using this holster for about a month and a half I am writing a short review. The holster is a Gould and Goodrich Gold line .I decided a long time ago IWB was best for me. I found the price of just under $45 dollars to be reasonable.
I use a G&G belt already so decided to get a matching holster and mag pouch. The holster was a bit stiff in holding my SA Champ. But a small amount of silicone spray added to the holster worked wonders. The holster does come with a adjustable tension screw.
I have found the holster to be built stout, fit comfortably and ride well on my hip. The holster makes my gun disappear nicely. The sweat shield works well to keep my side from getting chafed, even w/o a T shirt.
I give it a While not a custom rig, it works well , looks nice and I believe will last for years under constant use.
Here is a pic of the holster , my SA , a Gerber Mini covert , G&G belt and paddle mag pouch ,G2 surefire light.

Sounds like a good alternative to the higher priced custom stuff.

The G&G belt is decent belt. It supports a weapon well. Mine is so scuffed up I wear it as a beater.

I've had a few of the G&G holsters and found them adequate. My next belt will be the new 5.11 casual belt.

I have been really happy with how well made the belt is. I have worn it for a few years , it still is stiff enough to support my gun .

Nice report, rocky. I have a G&G Gold Line SOB and it's been great so far.
