    Comp-Tac holsters- Wow!

Since my best friend is a holster maker, I have great holsters coming out my ears. Rhome, however, is off planet until May, 2008, and I wanted to start carrying my S&W 625, having just recently put it on my permit.
I followed the suggestion of several forum members, and placed an order with Comp-Tac last Saturday. They acknowledged the order, notified me that they would have to build the holster, and it should be done in 5 days. Since it is Thanksgiving week, I did not expect to hear from them until sometime next week.
Imagine my surprise, it arrived today! It is a great fit! I will carry tomorrow, but I have no doubt that it will work as well as it is constructed. Kudos to Comp-Tac, and you folks who gave it high ratings. They deserve it!

I love my Comp-tac's, did they send you the free candies. I bought many holsters till I found them and now when ever I get a new pistol, I always get a new Comp-tac.

Comp-tac is a great company... I wish they all could do it like them.

I know, I know, the leather guys have a lot more work involved...

YEP! Wore a comp tac with a Kahr MK40 elite all day. Used the velcro clips with a 1.25" beltman all day... Wife did not even know I was carrying until after we got home and I took it off in front of her. Love that holster... need to get an IWB for my G23... still debating which one though... I am sure yours will work well for you... Greg does a nice job getting them out and follows up if you have any issues. Good luck and good shooting..

    Cheers

I never thought I would own a holster that was not leather... then I bought a new SIG Elite Carry P-220R. I was having a hard time finding a holster for it but CompTac was making one, their "Infidel" IWB. So I figured I'd get it and then dump it once I could get a leather holster.

I'm thinking I'm gonna keep it! CompTac makes a very nice holster!

I always love to tell the story of my first CT, several years ago. I was trying to find a lefty Kydex holster. Called CT to check on it, and of course...."Well, we don't have one in stock....we'll have to make one, blah, blah,...". I was prepared for the standard answer ("about 6 weeks") that I was getting from everyone else but swallowed hard and asked anyway, "When can you make one?" The guy says, "When you hang up the phone." HUH? Well, he must have, as it was in my mailbox 6 days later, including a weekend. That was about 5 CT's ago, but I'm not buying for the speed of delivery any more, just the quality. Okay, maybe not JUST...

Yes, I LOVE COMP TAC, great customer service and delivery times. They have only impressed me, never disappointed me. Wish I could say the same of my other holster buying experiences.

I have several of their holster, big fan of their M Tac. When I need another holster, Comp Tac will be the first place I look.

Recieved my Minotaur MTAC this morning. Been carrying the 5" Kimber all day and gotta say I like it a lot, two thumbs up. Smartcarry is going to get used very little this winter looks like.

I ordered a CTAC late Friday - too late for anyone to deal with it even on the west coast. Early this morning, Monday, I received a message that my order was sent to manufacturing and that I should expect it to take around a week. About 5 hours later, I received another email telling me that it was done and off to shipping where I should expect it to take 1-2 days; 2 hours later, another message tells me it has shipped. Hopefully it's at my door by week's end - the way these folks work, I feel like it will magically appear tomorrow.
