    NEW Bianchi

I just got a Bianchi minimalist holster for my J frame 1 7/8 " barrel . It's a perfect fit for this gun . I learned a lesson , stay away from Gander Mountain . They told me it would be here in 9 days , but after a 3 week run around , I called the little local store that has been here forever and got it in a week . Moral of the story don't let the big mega stores close these little stores . I know my story isn't nearly as bad as some of your stories and I wish ya'll the best .

Sometimes we do overlook the smaller businesses and that personal touch they can give. Glad you found a holster you like.
We will be much better off when we learn to deal with things as they really are, instead of how we wish them to be!

Nothing wrong with Bianchi leather. I use a model 100 IWB for my Colt Detective Special.

What are you getting for bike riding?

I usually just put mine in my Camelback, cause most the time I wear some kind of bike shorts without belt loops.

Just curious on what you'll be using.

Black Hills Leather is making me one with a strap to to keep the pistol secure and with a body shield . Rudy is super nice . He gave me a 3 week turn around on them , so if it goes as planed I will have them monday , and my Rafter Black Shark belt friday . If you look at the top of the picture you can see the bianchi has a pieace of leather , there is a rubber ring attached to it that will go over a hammer , but as you can see that is useless to me with this pistol . Sense I know how to post pictures now I will post them when they arrive . I will try to get better pictures , I hope I don't have to get a new camera . That would be my Hd shotgun money . I also just got a don hume agent 711 holster . It is made nice , fits tight , but I would not call it a custom . I have a 4" barrel and it looks like it would fit up to a 4 1/2" barrel . Kimber Compact ll with Don Hume and Galco high ride holsters.

Only problem I see with that minimalist holster it is that it does not completely cover the trigger. In my opinion, that is potentially dangerous when carrying a revolver OWB.

That is why I went with this IWB instead:

Sigsauer why do you say that ? I would think it would be more dangerous with a cocked 1911 or glock . A factory DA pistol takes some pull to fire it . I do agree a covered trigger is safer .

This is my favorite OWB holster for my Sig P229 and the GSR 1911 4" Commander.
