What is your favorite leather IWB holster

Well, I am going to buy a leather IWB holster. Did some searches on the forum and a bunch of people like a bunch of holsters.

Here are some of the favorites

    VMII
    Max-Con V
    Tucker Texas Heritage
    Dakota Defender
    Cochise Defender
    Comp-Tac MTAC

and I am sure others I just can't think of right now.

So here is the question. If you can only have ONE holster, which would it be?

The only one I have is a Bianchi Professional. It is for my 2" J frame S&W's (36 and 649). It is perfect for them.

I have only used this one but I would like to try others in the future. I will say that this is a very good and comfortable holster.

If I could only choose one it would have to be the one that is the most versetile and that is the K&D Cochise Defender as it can be used both IWB and OWB. Prefered choice is the thinest holster possible such as the Dakota Defender, HBE DC and the Max-Con V to name a few.

I do not like the steel bands at the throat or the leather reinforcement unless it is very thin as well so the VM-II type holsters are out for me. Couldn't care less about one hand reholstering for daily cc, it's just not needed. I make sure to get the most comfortable set up possible for my carry rig's and have found that the ones I have mentioned are the best for me.

I love my Brommeland Max-Con V, but there are terrible reports about delivery times. I'm sorry, because Gary has always treated me well. The Sparks VMII is spectacular also.

All those you mentioned come in high regard. For me, it's the Max-Con V.

Right now it's an Andrews McDaniel II. Very soon it might become a K&D Defender. Be warned that this holster fit issue is HIGHLY individual so take everyones preferences with a grain of salt. Also take the time to talk to the makers about what you like/don't like, physical build and gun carried. You'll learn more from them than you will learn here!
