Called this morning and ordered a Max Con V for a Glock 27. Nothing like having them in stock. Should have it as soon as FedEx can get it from TN to OR.
Talked to Dave. We both grew up in suburbs of Chicago and we talked about the best pizza in the world.
Pizza and holsters. What a way to end the year!
Amazing...I've got a presentation grade on order (for quite some time, see other thread), but these guys have the service grades in stock. This is my absolute favorite thin IWB. I ordered one for a 1911 also, guess I can sell the original for a premium if it ever comes!
Here we go again.

Ex, by all rights that should solve the comfort issues you've been having with your other rig. It takes a few days for the holster to mould to your hip but in less than a week you'll see an amazing difference. Do the wax paper trick as Gary recommends and once you find that sweet spot where the holster rides best you'll have a rig comfortable enough to sleep in ... ask me how I know .
BTW, what kind of belt are you using? Can't recall if you said you had a real gunbelt already, had just ordered one or what.
Absolutely! It's the foundation for the entire rig. With aproper gun belt there's no need to cinch it down overly tight. I'm currently wearing a Milt Sparks belt I bought almost ten years ago. If you factor in how long they last, a good belt is cheaper than buying thin, department store belts and replacing them every few months.
I just ordered a replacement from The Beltman to allow for my "expanding real estate." 1.5" bullhide gun belt for $69.95 and I expect it'll last another ten years or so. Good selection of leathers and options too.
Check out these links, you might find something you like:
http://www.lightningarms.com (a little more pricey but they stock custom leather for immediate delivery. Good folks to do business with too.)
I'm with Jack...a great holster is nothing without a wonderful belt. It makes all the difference in the world. Sparks, Brommeland, Kramer are my favorites. You might want to try Coal Creek Armory and see if they have any Brommeland belts in stock.
You will be exceedingly happy with your choice, I've got 3 of 'em. Happy New Year to you and yours.
