    I'm trying to gauge how common the 1.75" belts are. I don't normally stock them, but I've been getting a lot of people asking me to.

    Hi Jamie - normal choice these days is 1 1/2" - much wider and most holsters would not fit, not to mention jeans belt loops sometimes being skimpy.

    My Eagle Defender sits fine on my 1 1/2" but I have a few holsters that for some (wierd) reason seemed to have been set up for 1 1/4" max ... a size I used to ''make do with'' but not any more.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Ahh - to add - well for me - 1 3/4" won't cut it - just too impractical.
    1.5" - Well, the one I'm wearing now is smack inbetwixt 1.5 & 1.75.
    I voted 1.5 though...since my other gun belts are officially 1.5.
    A STIFF 1.75" width would be modestly useful when much of the holstered firearm is positioned above the belt line.
    1.5" Wilderness 5 stitch. I'll probably buy a 1.5" frequent flyer for work.
    1.5 fits all my pants. 1.75 not only limits your selection of pants, but holsters greatly. I tried one years ago, and even in Wranglers that allowed the wide belt, it was very uncomfortable.
    Almost almost always...1.5!
    I went to a 1.75" for IWB carry (with a Brommeland Max-Con V) and it made a world of difference. I still prefer OWB carry, but the IWB is livable with the wider belt. I'm a little on the thin side and I think that's most of the reason I can't make IWB work. There's just no padding on my hips for the holster and gun.
    I voted "other" because all of my belts, even the hand made gun belts are 1.25 inches. Any wider and I really do not like them.
