Got my smart carry--
Got my Smartcarry for my Kel-tec p3at a couple of days ago, worn it several times, have mixed impressions,...
On smart carrys website, definitely says you'll see a buldge looking dow, that no one else will. Seems like my belt/belt buckelt sticks out more than usual, but under a shirt, people write it off as a large belt buckle b/c the ountline is of the belt buckle (over t-shirt/polo) besides, larger style beltbukcles are "the rage" or "in style" right now.
Comfort is very high, I have a limited base/expreince with concealing,so its hard for me to rate the comfort,I will say it tends to poke my 'gut' a little, first time I wore it,it slipped down a little and caused a deal of pain, and made my johnson go numb. Bad\
\
So I think I overall like it,and will have to do minor adjustments.
My only concer//wondering how to go about dealing with my undershirts,on smartcarrys site it says to tuck the BACK of the shirt around the holster strap,at work I wear a wifebeafer(tank top basically), long sleeved shirt over that (cover tats/cold outside) than my CINTAS work shirt.
Overall expereince=good
EDIT: Whoops, I'm sorry mods I just realized I put this in the wrong section.

There are a few situations where the Smart Carry is a viable alternative and if a BUG is required it is a good solution, but for EDC it would be my last choice.

I just ordered me another today.
charlie is a good dude to deal with.
I wear mine a little lower.below the belt buckle.
I also had to mess with the tightness of the elastic band until i found where it was tight enough to not pull down and still be comfortable.
I love mine and when i dont want to wear the ross pancake with a body shield,I wear smart carry with my G27 or XDsc9mm.
I co
uld easily make this my everyday carry method.

last lesson I learned wearing it is to get a size larger pants and I even played around with a iron on patch where grip is. I wear mine pretty low and use it almost every day.

Got mine last week for a glock 30. It works GREAT in jeans. but the g30 is too thick for dress pants..imo... makes me look like a pornstar. Think single stack will be the beesknees for dress pants tho.

If you are into kilts, such as I am, the Smartcarry is the only way to go

Hmm, what kind of patch? How did it work out for you? I think part of it is getting used to WHERE to put it,and besides I realized I wore my jeans *slightly* lower than the average person out of habit? (I don't "sag" or whatever,...but when I was ALOT younger I always wore them wayyy too low,it was a fad.) It seems as though my firearm sits right where,or just under where it would be if I had an IWB holster on,wich probable means my pants are too low. Having tried to wear them higher,it made me really uncomfortable.
I think I need new jeans,I got these a couple sizes too large, but picked up some weight since then. (Fulltime employment + parttime college student=not alot of time to work out, unfortunately.)
Thanks for all the replies, I ordered some larger work uniforms (cintas) so maybe I could wear it at work. I've gone through the policies through and through, haven't found a "no weapons" policy.

I didn't like my smartcarry at first, almost sent it back, but I stuck with it and now feel very comfortable with it and wear it everywhere. I can wear it with an un-tucked shirt and fairly tight fitting jeans. Have to wear loser pants for tucked in carry. I'm 5'11" 190lbs w/ size 36 jeans and have no problem sitting for any period of time. My only complaint is that it's virtually impossible to draw while driving. Also, make sure you practice at home plenty before attempting a public urinal!!!
Edit: Forgot to mention, I carry an XD45 compact, both 10rd and 13rd mag conceal good for me.
