I'm looking for a holster I can order and receive quickly for my .40 cal. Hi-Power. I'm considering the Galco Avenger. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Kramer belt scabbard.

The Avenger style is not as concealable as the belt scabbard. the rounded front and tunnel and loop design does not pull the front of the holster in as close to the body...
Why not consider one of the outlets for premium holsters, such as Lightening Arms http://www.lightningarms.com/products.htm
Brommeland holsters are available from Coal Creek Armory
I have never regretted the cost of a top notch holster. If I had always bought them first, I would have saved hundreds of dollars replacing unsatisfactory holsters.
I agree with the other's assesment of the Avenger style versus the more concealable pancake style, though of course this could be accomodated with the proper cover garment.
My main objection to Galco's holsters for Hi-Powers is that they're not actually made for a Hi-Power. They sell you a 1911 holster which also happens to more or less fit a Hi-Power. I would want a holster molded exactly for my gun.
I also agree that the Kramer is an excellent choice. I've got a couple of their horsehide holsters and they wear like iron and fit like a glove.
I don't need a gun, I've got the Holy Spirit in me. But I like guns so I carry one anyway!
Thanks for the replies everybody. I guess I should have added that price is a factor at the moment.
Does anyone know if DeSantis or Don Hume does the same as Galco and uses a 1911 holster instead of a true Hi-Power holster?
This HF1 from Tucker Gunleather here in Texas works for me.
Here is a link to his website. His sales representative Rob is a great guy to work with.
If his delivery does not meet your needs, I bought mine off the shelf at Collectors Firearms in Houston, TX. They had two more hanging in the rack. Call them and they might be able to mail them to you.

I consider them the best of the "budget" holsters. I don't like their IWB because they are straight drop and the clip allows them to rock quite a bit, but their belt holsters are very good. For the price of a Galco, you can get a top notch custom.
I use the Hume JIT. It works great for my Hi Power.
You might check John W. O'Rourke at www.gunholsters.com. He shows a pancake for the High Power for $60.00 shipping included. I use his holsters and really like them.
